Peace used to be the baseline, or at least that’s what we were told.
Now it sounds like work, like compromise, like something fragile that can disappear if people stop trying hard enough.
14 years ago we called this brand Doomsday. it felt exaggerated back then, almost fictional. a word you wear when you’re thinking about endings, not when you’re living in them.
We didn’t think it would still make sense. we didn’t think it would feel this current.
But here we are, trying to remind ourselves that peace is worth it, because the alternative isn’t abstract anymore.
